7:18 pm - NEW RPG!!!!
|
Hey all! 've started a new rpg, along with one of my dearly beloved online friends :) and we're looking for people to join! the site addy is http://www.greatestjournal.com/community/hog_express , and user info is below:
Welcome to The Hogwarts Express! Everybody on board?
We start our journey in Harry Potter's 6th year of school. War has unfolded, and the Ministry is desperately fighting back against the evil forces of Lord Voldemort. Hogwarts has become a meeting place for the Order of the Phoenix, and a center of calm amongst the storm of violence that is going on around it. Even so, Order members can be seen rushing to and fro at all hours of the day, and nowhere- not even the sacred grounds of Hogwarts- is truly safe from harm. Meanwhile, Harry and his classmates are beginning a new year, hopping aboard the Hogwarts Express with fresh quills and ink, smiles on most of their faces, and OWL results in their hands, just waiting to be shared. There is love to be found, even in the most remote of places, and secrets and rumors abound as the students talk, unsuspecting of the spy in their midst....
Obviously, this is an RPG, and a brand new one at that! We're just now starting out, and hoping to have more members soon. If you're interested in joining the RPG, contact lilyflowertulip (aim), slytherinsela (aim), or aether_sela (yim). These are the mods and they would be happy to help you. All characters (stay within Hogwarts, please) except for Harry and Severus Snape are open, so let one of them know who you want to play, and it shall be done! Please, one more thing- make sure that you'll actually post and spend some time here. If one of the mods thinks that you're out and aren't participating, you will be taken off the list. Sorry, that's just a precaution/warning. Hopefully, we'll see some new faces soon!

My #1 result for the SelectSmart.com selector, A More Meaningful Harry Potter House Sorter, is Slytherin: It's thanks to you that wizards and witches everywhere have access to the finest magical resources, spells, and mythical creatures. You bravely go where no one else dares, exploring long buried crypts and ancient ruins for the treasures of long lost magical civilizations. You see the advancement of the wizarding world as an important goal, so you continuously seek out bigger and more powerful sources of magic to aid your community. You aren't afraid of danger, and your competitive spirit drives you do defeat any challenges you encounter. You are rash and impatient and prefer fighting your way out of a situation than thinking things through. But beware, for more than any other House, the Slytherins risk stumbling across Dark Arts magic and falling prey to its temptations. Being fierely competitive, you prefer working alone than in groups, though you won't object to having someone latch onto you if it suits your purposes, or to doing a little ass-kissing yourself if it opens up new opportunities for you. You've worked hard for what you have, and won't easily part with any of it. You mistrust others, prefering to rely on your own judgements. For this reason, sometimes you disagree with laws and rules, and feel no qualms about breaking them. To you, the ends justify the means.
First I am a slytherin, then a ravenclaw... hahaha

Okay, since I figured that I might as well write something, instead of just stealing things to do from other people's websites...
Lucius. Harry. Lucius.. and Harry?
I hate Lucius... And Harry.
But I'll write them, anyway.

Okay, this should amuse those of you intelligent to know what i'm talkign about (or unintelligent, as it may be):
"His spear sailed high, passing well over The left shoulder of Diomedes, Who kept on coming, launching a shot That hit Phegeus' chest between his nipples And knocked him from his rig."
Am i the only one who thinks that this is funny?

Pity the child who has ambition, knows what he wants to do, Knows that he'll never fit the system others expect him to. Pity the child who knew his parents, saw their faults, saw their love die before his eyes Pity the child that wise.
He never asked: Did I cause your distress? Just in case they said..
............yes

random questions, stolen from tradescant, whole stole it from bethbethbeth and ellen_fremedon. Whoo hoo.
1. Name your ten favourite fictional characters of all time and what book, movie or tv show they came from. 1. Obi-Wan Kenobi: Star Wars, books and movies 2. Severus Snape: HP 3. Qui-Gon Jinn: Star Wars 4. Astrid: White Oleander 5. Christian: Moulin Rouge 6. Marilla Cuthbert: Anne of Green Gables (seen the movies? they're awesome!) 7. Jean Valjean: Les Miserables 8. Simba: The Lion King (that movie rocks...haha) 9. Harry Potter: er.. HP 10. Made-Eye Moody: HP (call me crazy, but this guy is fantastic)
2. Name five fictional characters that you would like to have an affair with and/or marry, plus the source. You may disregard any pre-existing attachments for these characters. 1. Colonel Brandon (sense and sensibility) 2. Christian (moulin rouge) 3. Qui-Gon Jinn (SW) 4. Severus Snape (HP) 5. Jake Berensen (not going to tell you. if you know, good for you. if you don't, well, you don't want to know. (oh dear, i'm repeating myself...)
3. Name five books/literary works that you would like to live in. The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling Star Wars by George Lucas Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman White Oleander bu Janet Fitch
4. What classic/critically acclaimed work(s) of literature do you fully appreciate the artistic merits of but hate nonetheless? Shakespeare and Dickens. I cannot STAND reading Dickens, but I'm sure that he's an incredibly good writer. Shakespeare bored me to tears and is hard to understand, though it is sometimes humorous.
5. Recommend five books. The curious incident of the dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon White Oleander by Janet Fitch Framed in Fire by David Patneaude The Amber Spyglass/The Golden Compass/The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
(i wish i could recommend fanfics...haha)
